April is National Stress Awareness month. It is a month designed to recognize the high cost that stress has on our emotional, physical and mental well-being. With that thought in mind, here are some natural stress relievers.
- Use of Lavender. Lavender is said to have great stress reducing properties and the scent of fresh lavender may even promote better sleep.
- Avoid sugar and instead have some dark chocolate. Sugar may actually add to your stress level but dark chocolate may actually reduce stress.

- Take a bubble bath. Simple, yet effective, a hot bath, especially with a good book and candles can be a terrific stress reliever.
- Make yourself a chamomile tea. Chamomile is a natural relaxer.
- Exercise. Working up a sweat can be a great natural way to relieve stress.
